I wanted to really like these but I had a hard time doing so. My biggest issue is HOW BIG they are compared to name brand. If you review my pictures, you can see that these same sized (38x30) pants (grey) are larger than the named brand (tan). While it doesn't look like it in the pictures, they are MUCH larger. When I wear these pants, I feel like McHammer in these things. The material is, primarily, nylon and the name brand is polyester. Polyester is hydrophobic, wicks moisture, and dries quicker. Just know it is nylon and the use cases you would be using it for. I use these types of pants for canoeing so not really the best scenario for these pants. A couple of things that these pants have over the named brand is that I like the outer zipper protection and I like the D ring on the belt loop to be able to hang something without the risk of ripping the belt loop. The pants have weird areas where they were pleated together. I'm not sure why or the purpose but it seems completely random. If you are considering these pants, consider sizing down.
Great pair of pants, loving wearing them. Fits well perfect for the Florida summer heat down in Miami. Had good UPF rating too!!
Love the material very well made and extremely comfortable. I've noticed they run a little long so I've ordered mine couple inches shorter than my normal pant size. I own 2 pair will be buying more.
